The club invested in a state of the art indoor rowing pool which would only be the second to be installed in the UK at the time. Boom got involved in the project and were responsible for installing a new structural floor capable of taking the weight of the new pool which was to be located on the first floor. Once the structural works were complete the project was a refurbishment of the student accommodation, kitchen, bathrooms, changing rooms and communal areas.
